With the Ge Fong new generation of GNS-1716
PC-based Head sliding type CNC lathe, you get precision and
productivity. It provides Ø17mm. bar capacity with 8,000
rpm spindle speed. It is equipped with a PC- based controller
for user-friendly operation. The machine is available to equip
with a cross machining device, permitting drilling, tapping
and milling. The gang tool rest features quick tool change.
The entire machine is compactly constructed with maximum stability.

If necessary, 2 tools
can be mounted on one tool position. Maximum numbers up
to 12 tools.
RIGID TAPPING
Available if equipped
with PC based controller.(but not if Fanuc OT controller)Z
axis travel with rotary guide bushing is 240mm much longer
than the 68mm of the previousdesign.Reference-point return
operations are no longer required due to the use of absolute-type
motors for all axes.

ID TOOL REST
It can be mounted
on OD tool rest permitting drilling, tapping and ID machining
operations. Totally 2 ID tool rests cam be mounted.
PARTS CATCHER
Specially designed parts catcher
ensures positive parts catching and conveying. Parts catcher
is easy to be changed as a long part guide.

MACHINE OPERATION PANEL
Description of each
parameter selected by the cursor is displayed at the bottom of the
parameter menu. assuring no mistakes in parameter changing or setting.
Instead of a conventional
CRT monitor, the machine is equipped with an LCD monitor which does
not reflect light, emits less heat and lasts longer.
The operation panel
provides various control buttons, such as spindle CW. spindle CCW,
stop, optional stop, block skip machine lock, Z-axis lock, single
block run, and MPG dry run, etc. It provides convenience for program
checking and trial cutting.
